Thanks to Shri. Sadanand Keni sir, Dr. Dixit sir and entire Adore team for Obesity and Diabetes reversal mission. 


I was always overweight since school days and with a family history of Diabetics, a Diabetic patient since the last four years. My family doctor 👨‍⚕ repeatedly reminded me about diet control and regular medicine but my HbA1C keeps increasing. 😩


I heard Dr. Dixit sir’s speech in his US tour and decided to join the mission officially. Earlier I tried the "Daily only 2 meals" plan but was unable to continue it for a long time. 😖


In December 2019, I joined WhatsApp group under the guidance of Shri. Sadanand Keni Sir. He asked me to follow basic principles of the regime.

 I never skipped medicines. 💊 

I avoided sweets and sweet fruits for most of the year but occasionally had sweet coffee and on Festive days, I’m unable to resist sweets. 

Regular exercise was a big challenge but thanks to YouTube channels of "Dr. Ratna Madam", "Walk at home by Leslie" and "Lucy Wyndham Read"; I'm able to do 45 - 50 minutes of exercise each day with much variety. I didn't do any outside workout this year. Recently brought Treadmill and was able to run 5 Km in 30 minutes. This is a tremendous jump in my endurance than earlier years. 

Finally, I thank to my wife, with whose support I’m able to follow the timing of each meal i.e. Lunch at 11:30 am 🕦 and dinner at 6:30 pm. 🕡 There is not much change in my food habits. I had only salad instead of complete dinner 2-3 times in a week. Also had either rice or chapatis in each meal and thanks to pandemics no more restaurant food. ☺️


Today, I am happy to announce I’m now Pre-diabetic from Diabetic and my both LDL and HDL cholesterol levels are Good. My family doctor reduced my medicine dose. And most importantly, in the last shopping season I purchased t-shirt 👕 of "Medium size" which is a big moment for me. 🤩🥳 However, my journey towards Diabetes-free is not complete yet and I will continue this lifestyle all my life. Thanks again Dr Dixit sir and all admins for continued support. 😍😍


P.S.

To keep the track of this lifestyle I followed below three practices. 

1. Downloaded Habit Tracker App and maintained a log of three habits.

i) Exercise for 45 minutes

ii) Two meals a day

iii) No sweet.

This helped me a lot.

2. Checking weight and fasting sugar weekly kept me on track.

3. Last, but not least, reading Success stories without fail. Each success story teaches a new lesson and new point of view.
